Condition Report
Exterior Canvas: The Monogram canvas is in excellent condition. The colors are well-preserved, and the canvas remains stiff and structured with no cracks.
Vachetta Leather (Handles & Piping):
The leather has aged to a beautiful honey-brown patina.
The handles show minor darkening from use and some light surface scratches.
The piping around the edges is intact but shows typical rubbing on the bottom corners.
Hardware: The gold-tone hardware, including the zipper and handle rings, shows moderate signs of wear and tarnishing (plating loss), which is very common for vintage LV hardware. The zipper is functional and sturdy.
Interior: The brown textile lining is generally clean, showing only minor signs of use and dust in the crevices. The "Louis Vuitton Paris" leather tab and the internal D-ring are present.
Structure: The bag maintains its original rigid shape perfectly, which is the hallmark of the Ellipse design.
